The Dematic Crossbelt Sorter is a highly accurate, high speed bi-directional sorter which transports goods safely and gently to their destinations, irrespective of their shape, size and surface characteristics.

 

Individual carriages, each with their own belt conveyor, allow the Crossbelt sorter to deliver product to a particular destination with pin-point accuracy. Divert points can be concentrated at close intervals making the Crossbelt sorter very space efficient.

Patented double cell technology  

Dematic’s patented double cell technology provides accurate offloading, ensuring the market’s smallest width chute, reducing sorter length, saving floor space and maximising throughput with small cell pitch.

 

It can be programmed to speeds up to 2.5 meters per second and is suitable for conveying and/or sorting a diverse range of objects weighing up to 50 kilos.

Widely used in the grocery and general merchandise industries, apparel and e-commerce, the design of the Crossbelt sorter enables a very wide range of products to be handled, making it suitable for sorting even items such as small bottles or packages.
